Founded in 1975, Tam Oilfield Services was the first private Egyptian company, and the first private oil sector company established under the country’s then “Open Door Policy.” From the earliest days of its operation, Tam was a key player in the development of Egypt’s oil sector, and set the standards of service, quality and innovation for all those who followed.

In 1978, Tam began operation of the country’s first privately owned Duty Free Zone (DFZ) in Alexandria. The facility revolutionized oilfield operations in Egypt by solving critical logistics including customs clearance, supply, storage and delivery of key materials and equipment for Tam’S growing portfolio of international partners. Through elegant and pioneering solutions such as this, Tam Oil Field Services rapidly established itself as the partner of choice in Egypt’s demanding Oilfield sector.
