What Is EGYPS?
EGYPS IS The Egypt Petroleum Show, one of the most significant oil and gas events held in the MENA region. Where industry leaders and pioneers open up the opportunity to discuss recent oil and gas industry updates. Besides emphasising the opportunity for constructive business relationships and networking. In addition, exchanging valuable expertise and information among global gas and oil gurus. In the shades of COVID-19 consequences in the past years, EGYPS 2023 dates were still under discussion. But due to the hit success of the previous five exhibitions, the sixth edition of the EGYPS conference will be held from the 13th to 15th of February 2023 under the patronage of the Egyptian president, His Excellency Abdel Fattah El Sisi. The venue will be in Cairo at the Egypt International Exhibition Center and is expected to have 26,000+ attendees, 450+ exhibitors of the biggest national and international oil and gas companies, 260+ speakers, 8 country pavilions and 73 conference sessions.
Why Egypt?
Being a pioneer centralised country for its African and neighbouring countries, Egypt was chosen for countless reasons, mainly the mainstream previous success and great history of organising events. Beyond that since March 2020, 14 upstream agreements have been approved and signed with international oil companies (IOCs) that are for the first time operating in the Egyptian upstream domain, including Chevron and ExxonMobil. Furthermore, Egyptian Energy Ministers participated in the approval and transformation of the East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF) into an internationally recognised Mediterranean natural gas fields development organisation, under cooperation with Energy Ministers from other countries (Italy, Greece, Cyprus, and Palestine).

EGYPS 2023 is planned to be the largest one yet. With an expansion in the exhibition space at the Egyptian International Exhibition Center to take up nearly 26,000 attendees, EGYPS 2023 will also focus on attracting strategic, and industry leaders from all over the world, with government representatives, CEOS, and IOCs, international service providers and expert consultants all there to discuss oil and gas insights and the latest industry updates.
National and international oil companies will take part in this prestigious event too. The top pioneers of national companies supporting and participating in EGYPS 2023 will include CHC, Hellenic, Ganope, EGPC and Tam Oilfield Services. As for the international oil, gas and energy companies supporting and participating in EGYPS 2023, these include firms such as Cheiron, ExxonMobil, Total Energies, Schlumberger, Siemens Energy, PetroJet, Halliburton and our partner Baker Hughes.
Furthermore, previous exhibitors’ feedback affirms that, the massive success of the past EGYPS exhibitions were. To elaborate, according to their feedback, EGYPS met and even exceeded 93% of the exhibitors on investment (ROI). Moreover, 86% were satisfied with the quality of visitors and 80% plan on making a return for EGYPS 2023.
